NIC Outdoor Pursuits has two rental locations depending on your needs and the season.
Outdoor Pursuits offers both summer and winter rental services at different locations. During the summer season, we operate a snack shack and rental shop at Sunspot at Ya-Keehn-Um Beach on Lake Coeur d'Alene. We provide beach-related rentals and services, catering to visitors looking for summer activities.
For winter rentals, Outdoor Pursuits has the Outdoor Center as the go-to place. Additionally, there is a bike shop and raft rentals located in the south entrance of McLain Hall. During the winter season, Outdoor Pursuits provides services related to winter sports and activities, such as skiing, snowboarding, or other cold-weather adventures.

Reservations accepted anytime with full payment
- Equipment must be returned during business hours
- No charge for pick up and drop off days (except on one day rentals)
- Two day minimum rental on weekends
The Renter is responsible for:
- The replacement cost of damaged or lost gear
- Cleaning and/ or repair costs incurred for mistreated gear
